Woody – school councillor. We do not bite! Whatever comes into your head please write it down!

  2. Harvey B says:

Its not really a project but the new badges sure are cool !!!

  3. Alex W says:

If you could like sort out a school multiple skills day that would be done as then we can find out who can do what sport and if the house captains of each team could set up their own one then they can see all of the team members skills.

  4. Ella D says:

I think to make our school even better. Every one in the school including adults
could have a day of sports first the children go first there teacher tells them what to do then the teacher of your class could give a child a
chance to be the teacher and tell them what sport to do. Then the adult teacher writes down who they think has done the sport the teacher has told them what to do and in celebration asemballey Mrs Adams or anyone who is doing asembelly could give the person that the teacher has nomanated a circifite from each class.

  5. Liam H says:

I think the school football football team should have a game or at least some training!

  6. Annabelle W says:

🙂 I agree with Ella! A sports day for Teachers, that’ll be entertaining! 🙂

  7. Aidan H says:

I think you should lower the price of tuck shop products because once raisins were 10p but now there 20p and thats double the price.
Although, the price on rolls are reasonable.

  8. Maisie W says:

This message is from Jasmine and Maisie:

As some we now have reading challenges and some children may have read all their books at home they may not be to intrested in the books in the libary. Therefor we reccommended a school council pupil to maybe pop round each Team and ask what books they enjoy!
Please take notice of our message and more pupils have filled up reading challenges.

    Thankyou!!!

  9. Elise M says:

I think that we should have a sports day for the teachers and T.A ‘s!

  10. Libby J says:

I think that we could have a whole week of art or sports including the teachers!

  11. Liam H says:

I think to make are school a little bit more sporty. Mabye we can make a cricket team?

  12. Pheobe T says:

As part of the school council i would like to say thankyou to every body who has commented! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  13. Isabelle H says:

Well i think to make this school even better in the upper junior clock room could be a light switch so the upper juoirs can see there P.E bags and there rucksacks. Secondly i think there should be more of a choice for tuck shop because if your class comes out late to break the tuck usually all gone and not really much left. Thirdly at lunch play you could have some coulring of some books or puzzles to do if they just want to be alone and maybe just so peace. So i hope you could take a look at these but the school counsil are truly amazing at what they do . I had got a ruff idea on what you do due to the fact i use to be in the school counsil in year two.

  14. James A says:

You are really going to like what ideas we have come up with.

  15. Alex W says:

Well the school could have a whole day of talent sharing what i’m saying is upper juniors could pair up with their buddy and : a YR1,YR2,YR3,YR4 and then sharing their best talent and then show it to them.:) 🙂 🙂

  16. Annabelle W says:

    This is Maria Typeing!

Hi School Council !!!! We need a light in the Dearleap cloak room please.

  17. Libby J says:

I think we should have a badge for the best blogger that could have a computer on it! That would be really exciting because it would grab peoples attention and make more children type on the blog! Furthermore, I think that we should grow vegetables in a patch so we can be eco and use those for school dinners( although we would need quite alot of vegetables)!!

  18. Libby J says:

I have just had another great idea! Maybe we could use energy saving light bulbs to become the most eco school we can! Or we could consider having a team of children to be green house inspectors so when the construction is finished we can make sure our lovely eco house is looked after every day! Moreover, we could but or make a water collector so if we make herbs or grow flowers, we can re-use the water instead of wasting tap water!

  19. Rosie C says:

I have a great idea.We might be eating things from a long way away so why not have our own orchid!!!!!

  20. Libby J says:

Maybe we could have a mathletics badge for the upper juniors so we can celebrate our hard work in maths and get more children motivated to go on the computer and go on mathletics! In addition, we could have a recycling point where we could have a bottle bin, paper bin and waste bin to order all our rubbish so we dont accidentally chuck away recycable garbage!

  21. Libby J says:

I have just thoudht of another brilliant idea…… Perhaps we could grow flowers around the school to attract bees and maybe we cold even put bee hives at the end of the field so we can collect honey to sell or put in the school dinners( cakes or drizzled over fruit) yum!

  22. Alexandra S says:

Maybe you could reconsider once again doing the School Disco, as this is a fun way of children letting go after summer! Also in the talent show I find it unfair that only a few people from each class get to get involved with this fun activity. My last suggestion is that the teachers have their very own sports day and the children get the role of the parents!

  23. Olivia G says:

I have a quite costly idea but its really great, How about we get a cooled water dispenser in every class room. That way we can all keep hydrated throughout the day. And a Hydrated learner is a better learner?

  24. Annabelle W says:

I agree with Maria and Olivia G!
    1. We certainly do need a LOW ENERGY (save the enviroment!) Lightbulb in the
Deerleap & Hawkhill Cloakroom as when we look for our P.E. Kits, when we do it,
it is extremely hard to find and retrive our bagsfrom the depths of the cloakroom.
    2. A water dispenser in the classroom is a great idea due to the hot days we’ve been
having and it is true! A hydrated learner is a concentrated learner!

  25. Alice C says:

I like all of the ideas but my idea is to fill up all the drafts in the windows ( gaps). Perhaps we could my cheap filler so it won’t be so cold in sub zero temperatures at Winter.

  26. Dayna S says:

Thanks for all your ideas and we ,as the school council, will definitely take some of your ideas!

  27. Alice M says:

I think that we should have a light in the deerleap cloakroom because I can’t see a thing.
    Thank you.

  28. James A says:

We are sure most of you know that the school council are interviewing a new teacher! So as soon as we know who our new teacher is we will inform you.
