Despite the rain, team Hordle were bursting with energy this morning and were raring to conquer the open water in canoes and kayaks. After an early morning stroll along the creek and a delicious cooked breakfast, we ventured to the sea dressed in wetsuits, cagoules and buoyancy aids ready to take on the water. Although the weather was rather rainy, it didn’t stop the year fives from smiling as they paddled out to sea. After a tutorial by PGL, the children tried their hand at both canoeing in teams and kayaking independently. It wasn’t long before they became more and more confident and applied their newly learnt skills to team games.
I loved that it was really good I hope you are having a amazing time!!
WOW I hope everybody has used there motavation and risk taker caps on because thats what I had to use to tackle that activity

Wow! Looks as if you are having an amazing time, when Katy, Jackson, and I went as a team in one of the boats, we kind of….. went a little bit too far and a boat ‘rescued’ us! On the way back, I had a responsibilty to clutch hold of the ladie’s rope and boat ( with her in it) and I accidenlty let go of it! Fortunatley, she struggled back safe to shore!

PGL is great fun.We have just got back and are unpacking and looking forwards to seeing the year sixs and can’t wait to be back in the classroom . I wold love to thank Miss Cazneaux,Mrs Way,Mrs Deegan,Mr Adams and Mr Clement because without them it would of not happend.

After that day I think everyone was glad to get out of the horrible sandy wetsuits and get in the shower before going to another delectable dinner!
Although this was my least favorite activity, I say that your time in there was brilliant!
