If I borrow a million pounds am I a millionaire?
No because you cant keep it forever and its not yours
but if you borro a million pounds than you are close to a millionare.
Yes but no yes because you would have the million pounds. No because you’re just borrowing.
I think you are not a millionare due to the fact you borrowd it and not won it. Furthermore you did not ask to borrow it and that is not being responsible .
No, I think you wouldn’t be a millionare due to the fact that it is not yours to keep and it’s borrowed (hopefully!). In addition, if you did steal it (by accident :/ ) you could get caught by the Police and get arrested!

Is it different if you buy a million pound house which has a mortgage? For those who aren’t sure, a mortgage is money lent by the bank which, in time, you pay off.
No because if you have a million pounds which you have borrowed then it is not rightfully yours and you have to give it back.

I think yes and no. Yes because you have got a million pounds in your hands and no because you are borrowing a million pounds from a freind or someone else.
You would be for a certain amount of time untill you give the money back, after all, you’re only borrowing the money.
I don’t think you would be a millionaire.Due to the fact,you would be borrowing the money and you would have to save your money up if you were a real millionaire and if you borrow the money you would have to pay it back in the end.

Except from paying the mortgage, why would you even need to borrow one million pounds? And no. You are not a millionaire because you don’t keep the money. However, you do have the money so you could class yourself as a temporary millionaire.

No, I don’t think you would be a millionaire because if you, unfortunately, stole the money, you could get caught and you would have to give it all back and maybe even pay more. Therefore, I don’t think you would be one.

The alternetive : if you OWNED a million pounds, not BORROWED, only then will you be a millionaire
I would say no because you are borrowing it and you have to give the money back .
No because you won’t have the money forever so your not officially a millionare.
No because you have borrowed it mabye somebody you don’t know and it not yours and you need to return it to the rightful owner.
