Treasure!

Wow! What an incredible week it has been. When the Lower Juniors arrived at school on Monday morning, they found themselves in a tomb! That’s right! The Lower Junior corridor has been transformed into the tomb of Tutankhamun. Lower Juniors spent Monday working in teams to solve a challenge all about Howard Carter, making clay treasures for the sepulchre (tomb) and painting burial masks for a pharaoh (Egyptian ruler).

What do you think of our sarcophagus? What would you like to know about Ancient Egypt or the boy king?
