KS1 Wedding Celebration

On Friday, all of KS1 came together to celebrate the joining of Cameron and Hannah in holy matrimony. This wedding had everything; a best man, the father and mother of the bride, bridesmaids, ushers, and (of course) the bride and groom!

The wedding was led by Paul the Vicar in the Church hall, and we even had a proper organist to play the ‘Wedding March’ to make the day even more special.  After the ceremony, all wedding guests were invited to the church hall for a wedding breakfast involving proper wedding speeches and the cutting of the cake!

The day was a real success and all and a fantastic way to introduce our new topic of ‘Celebrations’. Have you ever been to a wedding before? What was your favorite part of your KS1 wedding?
