A good way to remember spellings are with an anonym which is a group of letters that stand for a ‘ mini sentence’ that tells you the meaning. For example, AISLE-

    Aisles
    In
    Shops
    Lurk
    Everywhere

This one is slightly different, but it still works:

    FOREIGN

    Foreign
    PeOple
    stRongly
    spEak
    In
    German
    AcceNts

If you find it easier, you could use other words to help:

    To remember FORTY

I went to FORTY sleepovers in a FORTnight
I ate FORTY bits of spaghetti with my FORk

Oops. I should have said mnemonic. A Mnemonic is a short phrase that you use to help remember something. Perhaps I should have used one!

I love being in the leaning council because I get to do videos each week.
Hope I can get through nearly every one in my class.
Do you want to do a video with me soon?
