Upper Junior Childline Workshops

Earlier this term, the Upper Juniors were visited by Michelle from Childline who ran an assembly with the Year 5 & 6 pupils as well as a follow-up workshop in class. Pupils learnt about how to stay safe and the importance of speaking to trusted adults if they felt something was not right.

They also met Buddy the Childline mascot who helped them to remember the important messages from the sessions!

I really enjoyed being visited by Michelle from childline. She taught us many things we didn’t know and how to help others. I am glad that she came and we were having great fun with her in our lessons. Her visit included a powerpoint of information and a worksheet. 🙂

Great fun. Even though there is a serious aspect to it it is a great way of learning- the visitor made it really engaging. It’s great to have a reliable service to pick you up when you’ve fallen down! (Not literally :P)
