It was a very exciting week for the children of Hordle Primary School, gradually over the week more and more interesting things appear on a display board in the school hall. Then suddenly on Friday there was a magician…shrouded in purple with numbers and stars all around him.
I wonder what the children will name him?

Great news Team Hordle! Moreover, a special well done to : Joshua in Deerleap, Jay in Hawkhill, Billy in Wilverley, Jamie in Hazel, Katie in Ash, Skye in Oak, Joey, Joshua and Theo in Squirrel, Poppy in Hedgehog, Molly in Badger , Ellie in Bumblebees and Oliver in Ladybirds! All these pupils have done amazing pieces of maths work and out a lot of effort and worked incredibly hard! Well done!

I think that Mervin is a great inspiration for all young minds and is good to support children[including myself] during their maths lessons.

The Mathemagician Award is a great addition to our school. We have Wordsworth ‘Dragon Writer’ award to celebrate English, so why not celebrate math?
