I think family is most important.
This is an interesting question that makes you think really hard. I would say that family are more important over your whole life time as they will always be there and are people you can rely on. Groups of friends change over time as you get older, they are very important at particular times in your life and you often miss old friends as you drift apart, for whatever reason.
What do others think?
I think family are most important because, you have to admit that your friends, in a way, ARE your family. It doesn’t matter if people have different ideas, because some people might not have any friends or family. It is unlikely, but it is possible. Also, like Mr.C said, there are times where you and your friends have to part, though you can still keep in touch with them. For an example, your best friend might go into a different secondary school.

I think your family is more important because it is your only friend you will have throughout your life.
In my opinion, i think family is more important because they will always be there for you i’m not saying that your friends won’t but they will always help you and always be there for you when you most need them in situations they will stop what they’re doing and come and see you or pic you up.And most of all they will always love you!
I think both because your friends and family last your life and are always there for you.
I think both because you should never let your family or friends down. You never want to lose a friend or for someone in your family not to like you. So I think that they are both important.
Friends and family are equally important, you can’t beat friends with family, and you can’t beat family with friends!
I would personally think family because you can rely on them. They will always be there even if something happens to them. your family will always love you all time. With friends you could break up and never see them anymore. So family is more important.
If you think about it, family is better than friends, even if you really like your mates and hang out with them. Family are blood relations and practically are the reason you are born and are like you are!
I would probably say family because If it weren’t for your family, you wouldn’t be in the world right now.
I also think both because, a friend is their to support you when your family can’t and vice-versa.

I think both because you never want to let your friends dnow or no one will like you. But your family should be improtant because they are the ones who look after you at home and when you are ill.
I think both because they are both there for you at all times if something hapend to you.
What an interesting discussion.I personally think family are more important because you can loose your friends and make new ones however you can not replace family.
I think family are more important than friends because your family are with you no matter what. but sometimes you plane something for the talent show and your best friend backs out and your left doing it alone. That why I think family are more important then friends. FAMILY ARE THERE FOR YOU!
