Last Wednesday, the Hordle School hall was transformed into a glamorous catwalk in preparation for the KS1 fashion show! Every child in Years 1 and 2 came to school dressed in different types of clothes from all over the world; flamenco dancers from Spain, kimonos from Japan, Indian chiefs, sombreros from Mexico and even beautiful African saris – this fashion show had it all!
All of the children looked absolutely amazing and the day was a great success. What a brilliant and exciting way to introduce our new topic!
If you are in KS2, can you remember what you wore to school when you did your fashion show? What country were your clothes from? Can you remember what your teachers wore?

Goodness me! What a brilliant looking day you all had Key Stage 1! We had a fashion show in the Upper Juniors last year when we showed off our Eco bags but I think it’s fair to say that yours was a lot more colourful than ours!
Wow! Amazing costumes Key Stage 1! I don’t remember doing a fashion show when I was in the Infants (We might not have done one at all) but I think it’s obvious that your one beats ours! In addition, I’ve noticed that in the picture with the 4 flamenco dancers, behind them is a message saying “Enough talking, let’s have this fashion show!” which I think is awesome. I have never seen such an exciting fashion show than this! Furthermore, the girls in the red dresses look wonderful- I doubt I’ll ever look as nice as that! 😀
